Innomation Inc has developed a proprietary process of corrugating phenolic resin saturated kraft paper into continuous Corrucomb cells with a height of 0.5" and a pitch of 0.75". The Corrucomb web is then assembled into Corrucomb block and cut into dimensions for sandwich panel lay-up. The two facings for the sandwich panels are thin steel skins. The finished panel can be as thick as 2 feet, as long as 50 feet and as wide as 10 feet.

The key features of Corrucomb are:
1) Phase shifted flute tip alignment to form open cells, the final product is similar to expanded honeycomb.
2) Variable core thickness dependent on open face double-wall Corrucomb Slit Width.
3) Straight sided flute profile for rigid set and dual radius flute tips for greater adhesive surface and glue fillet forming.
